Howarth Timber & Building Supplies Malton

Hey there, let's chat about this gem of a place, Howarth Timber & Building Supplies in Malton. You know, the kind of place where you can find everything from a single nail to a whole load of timber, all in one go.

First Impressions

So, you roll up to Howarth's, and it's like walking into a real-life game of Tetris. You've got stacks of timber here, piles of bricks there, and it's all just waiting for you to come and build something amazing. It's like they've taken the entire DIY section of your local supermarket and multiplied it by a gazillion.

And the best part? You don't have to worry about those pesky 'aisles too narrow for a grown man' situations. No, no, Howarth's got plenty of room for you to strut your stuff, or at least, strut your tool belt.

Meet the Timber Whisperers

Now, let's talk about the folks who work there. They're not just your average 'sales assistants', no, they're timber whisperers. These guys know their stuff. You could walk in there asking for a 'thingamajig' to fix your 'whatchamacallit', and they'd probably know exactly what you mean.

They're friendly too. I mean, they've got to be, right? They're dealing with people who are either in the middle of a DIY disaster or on their way to creating a masterpiece. Either way, they've got patience in spades.

More Than Just Timber

But Howarth's isn't just about the timber, oh no. They've got a whole host of other goodies to make your DIY dreams a reality. We're talking about tools, paint, insulation, the works. It's like they've taken every single thing you could possibly need for a building project and said, 'Here, have it all. We believe in you.'

And the best bit? They've got this handy little thing called a 'click and collect' service. So, you can be sitting there, in your pajamas, sipping your coffee (or tea, I don't judge), browsing their website, and before you know it, you've ordered everything you need. Then, you just pop in, pick it up, and Bob's your uncle.

Community Spirit

Now, I've heard rumors (well, I've read their website) that Howarth's is all about that community life. They've got these little workshops and things, where they teach you how to do stuff. You know, like how to hang a door, or how to lay a floor. It's like they're saying, 'We'll give you the tools, we'll teach you how to use them, and then we'll send you on your way to create something wonderful.'

And they're not just about teaching people how to build stuff. No, they're also about giving back. They've got this thing called the 'Community Fund', where they give money to local groups and charities. It's like they're saying, 'We're not just here to sell you stuff, we're here to help make our community better too.'

So, What's the Verdict?

Well, would I recommend Howarth Timber & Building Supplies in Malton? Absolutely. It's like the one-stop shop for all your DIY needs. It's got everything you could possibly want, and if it doesn't, the staff will probably know where you can get it. Plus, they're friendly, they're helpful, and they're all about that community life. What's not to love?

So, next time you're in the Malton area and you've got a DIY project on the horizon, pop in. Say hi to the timber whisperers for me. And who knows, you might just leave with a new skill, a bag full of tools, and a spring in your step.
