Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Cheltenham Central
When Life Gave Me a Lemon, I Rented a Car
So, there I was, stuck in Cheltenham with a car that decided it had had enough of life. I mean, who can blame it, right? It was a Monday, the sun was hiding behind a cloud that seemed to have a personal vendetta against me, and I had a meeting across town that I couldn't miss. I needed a car, and fast.
I'd heard whispers about this place called Enterprise, a car and van hire service that was supposed to be as reliable as the British weather (which, let's face it, isn't saying much). But hey, beggars can't be choosers, so I gave them a call.
Enter Enterprise, Stage Left
Now, I've dealt with my fair share of car hire places, and let me tell you, some of them make you feel like you're trying to navigate the Amazon rainforest without a map. But not Enterprise. Their website was as easy to navigate as a Sunday stroll, and their customer service was as warm as a cup of tea on a rainy day.

I was greeted by a friendly voice on the other end of the line, who didn't bat an eyelid at my car crisis. They talked me through the process, which was about as complicated as ordering a pizza. I was promised a car that was as reliable as it was shiny, and a pick-up process that was as smooth as butter.
Cheltenham Central: The Hub of Hire
So, there I was, standing outside the Enterprise branch in Cheltenham Central, wondering if I'd stepped into a parallel universe where car hire was actually enjoyable. The place was clean, the staff were smiling (genuine smiles, not the 'I-hate-my-job' kind), and they had a fleet of cars that looked like they'd just rolled off the production line.
I was in and out in the time it takes to brew a decent cup of coffee. The car was exactly as promised, and the roads of Cheltenham were mine for the taking. I felt like James Bond, except instead of an Aston Martin, I was driving a Ford Focus (but hey, a car's a car, right?).

Why Enterprise, You Ask?
Well, apart from the fact that they saved my bacon that day, there are a few things that set Enterprise apart from the rest. Firstly, their prices are as competitive as they come. I mean, they're not giving cars away for free, but they're not robbing you blind either.
Secondly, their fleet is as varied as a box of chocolates. Whether you're after a nippy little runaround, a van to move the world, or something with a bit more oomph, they've got you covered. And thirdly, their customer service is top-notch. They make you feel like you're their only customer, which is a rare thing these days.
So, Would I Recommend Enterprise?
Would I recommend Enterprise to my mother? To my dog? To the postman who always remembers to bring my parcels? Yes, yes, and yes. In fact, I'd recommend them to anyone who needs a car, van, or even a motorcycle (yes, they do those too).
So, if you find yourself in a car crisis, or you just fancy a change of scenery, give Enterprise a go. You might just find that car hire isn't the chore you thought it was. And who knows, you might even enjoy it. I know I did.
